Mother and Child

This poem is about a piece of fine marble crafted into a Mother standing with her babe and child. It stands on the fireplace mantel and/or sometimes the bookshelf.

Mother & Child,
a symbol are you,
White in marble,
Standing tall,
babe in arms and
toddler at the
knees.
Forever present
and standing
,
Full of hope and
innocence
on our
bookshelf for the
past Thirty-Five
Years
!
