It's not the kind of secret,

You want to keep,

It's not the kind of thing,

You want your best friend ,

To go through at thirteen,

Fearing to go home,

She hid in our garage for days,

Showing the scars he left,

When he had to much to drink,

Leaving her wondering how her Daddy,

Could do such a thing,

Leave the scars the way he did,

The phyiscal one's would fade in time,

But I wonder if the mental and emotional one's

Ever did...

A bad situation. Some secrets are truths that have to be dealt with. Don't keep this forever a secret. Good write!
