When I stop and think of you and me
An uncontrollably giant smile appears
I get so happy, that you won't believe
It seems to wipe away all of my fears.
You are the laughter that brings delight
That always seems to pull me through
The hard days when I'm feeling blue.
Inspiration is what you are to me
When I can't continue to climb my wall
You are the pillow that I cannot see
When I suddenly start to stumble and fall.
You are always standing there by my side
To make sure I stand and remain strong
Bringing me down when I'm full of pride
Even to show me how to correct my wrongs.
It doesn't matter where I seem to go
Or what in this life I happen to do
With this in mind, that just goes to show
Through it all, I can always depend on you.
