I didn't think,

At twenty six,

I would be whispering,

A thank you to God,

Everytime I was,

Able to hold a cup,

In my hand,

Without spilling its contents,

And everytime I am able,

To open the shampoo,

Without my hands fumbling,

For everyday,

I make it,

Out of bed,

Without stumbling,

And the days I can make it,

Without falling,

And the days,

My head is clear,

And my worries are few,

And my pain does not stop,

From moving along with my day...

We often don't appreciate things until we know what it's like to be without them, your poem gets this across in a powerful, hard hitting way. I felt this a lot....great writing!
