I thank you each and every day
for the flowers I see, the
aroma I smell and the flowers that bloom...
I thank you each and every day
for you not being late to the steps I could not climb,
and I thank you for being on time to rescue my steps
so I could climb,
I was once lost and blinded, but now I am found...
I thank you each and every day when the day fails me,
and I find you still there,
my comforter,
my protector...
I thank you each and every day
for the days in which I stumbled and fell
and although the world thought it best
to keep me down,
you saw fit to run in front to break my fall,
for thou art with me...
I thank you when the arms I lift are weak,
and it's you that's doing great healing again today,
the protector of my soul,
so I know my cup runneth over
with the abundant blessings....
I thank you for revealing to me how aweson you really are,
proving beyond a shadow of a doubt
that you do what no other man can ever do,
so I'll never have to want cause I know
you'll be by my side...
So again today,
I thank you as you make what is weak
a blessing with perfect fit,
igniting character in strength
for the direction I can't see, and
you lead me and guide me with undying faith...
For those eyes that can't navigate to see who you are,
you are the pilot and the tour guide,
so step aside, let go and let God do his job.
Thank you for the patience with constant strength
keeping me moving within arms reach because
had it not been for you, there would be no me...
So when my best is not the outcome I expected,
the priority of importance states purely how I really,
really tried, and for this,
there is no doubt in your mind
that I've done all and been the best
that I could be by constantly trying...
And when the day begins and the night nears,
I am so grateful that you've shown me plenty by
making my day and night safe.
Thankful because no one does it better than you,
no matter what they say they can do...
I know better now 'cause I know who you are and
I've seen what you can do...
As I call out to you with the many thanks,
you advance me with your grace, and
welcome me by stimulating my soul...
The shelter that see's me through,
allowing me to be a living witness
for your works so I can
tell the world that there is no man
greater than Thee, and I know and I've seen,
when it was he who brought me out of
the world's flaming fire,
so I know your will was done...
For all that is too much to bear,
you've held out your own eyes for the world to see,
to bear witness that it isn't always so,
when they say,
what you see is what you get
'cause faith instills change,
changing who we are...
