Do we pay the price for freewill!

God could have ordered us to love each other,
but he did not bother,
good quality of a loving father.
Lead and maybe they will follow,
but instead most remain hollow.

A world of robot manuevers,
push a button love levers.
Given no choice,
freedom of voice.
Man wouldn't be man,
simply a robot in a can.
Boring existence,
everyone in consistency.

Regardless of our pain,
freewill is the main,
so in comes the rain.
Grab an umbrella for cover,
or let God's love recover,
a better life in discover.

Grady, you are right. We would just be little robots if God ordered us to love. We have learn how to do it all on our own and then make the choice. It means so much more with our freewill.

EXCELLENT poem, my friend. So much wisdom
in these line's. Sometimes I feel the world
doesn't know what love is anymore....just war's
and starving children. Superb write as always
from you...

Love 'n Peace,
