Snow Ball Fight (an Acrostic)


Shape it round and compact
Not too hard my dear,
Or pain might cause a rumpus
When it hits one in the ear.


Best be prepared my friend
Attack and I’ll fight back,
Lob a snowball at me and I’ll
Land one on you – thwack!


Fix up your defences
I’m going to bombard you,
Gather your ammunition and
Hope to score a few,
Then - watch out for an I.O.U

Ed - You'd better watch out, remember David and Goliath. My aim is generally very accurate, I usually get them into the left ear!!!!

What a wonderful acrostic poem Jackie! These aren't easy to do but you certainly did a real winner.....wish our snow here was "snowball" type but it's fine and powdery and not wet enough for a decent snowball fight!!! So now I have to know - did you or Jim "win" the fight???????
