Bite This (Reprint) by Sue Hess Wednesday, January 28, 2004 Share Print Save Become a Fan I needed to express an emotion i have been feeling lately and found this poem said it best so i am reprinting it now
And so The meal ends just before it grows stale Every ounce of taste Has been squeezed from it Every drop of drinkable Juice Gone down the throat Of the gullible Choking Only if you fight it Swallow Its easier that way Goes down smoothly And you can Smile And say thank you Saving face and Pretending It was just a snack You wanted Anyway
