pillow talk with mirrors

can a mirror talk?
you are my mirror.
when you spill forth,
i feel as if i've emptied gut.

can a mirror listen?
you are my mirror.
before i say the words,
you've received them deep.

can a mirror see?
you are my mirror.
when i look at you,
your eyes drive through me.

can a mirror feel?
you are my mirror.
when i touch the glass,
warmth surrounds my hand.

can a mirror breathe?
you are my mirror.
exhaling before you,
i see you inhale deeply.
