Crying Silent Night
Powerful it is, the pull of the moon. Emotions in response, relent, loosen. Both eyes brimming, tears leaking freely, I am crying, yes, but cannot hear same. Headphones rocking my eardrums, wild, blasting tunes, like a movie soundtrack. Music makes it impossible to own the pain, my own grief, spilling frantic, loud, louder! Finally, unable to ignore the sting, tasting salt, acutely aware now, my wounds bleed out. The moon has stalked its prey complete, splashing the snow, white to crimson.
