Poses the question is their a RIGHT Belief
What Is Belief.
I have a question that hangs heavy on my mind,
What is belief? There are so many different kinds,
What is credible to some, becomes a point of argument or scorn,
To others who cry out and say, Our way is the norm
Muslims truly trust in Mecca for their faith,
To truly have their sins forgiven they must see that Holy place,
Hindus believe the Ganges holds the key for eternal life,
To bathe in holy waters, will free their souls from strife,
Christians belief in Jesus Christ, will relieve them from their sins,
For the sacrifice He made for them, heaven will let them in,
So many beliefs,, so many sects, who do I turn to for advice,
Each person who believes, must surely say they are right,
So I go on questing, seeking a holy plan,
To make me a better person then, to what I am,
A belief in higher values that satisfies my soul,
To attain that satisfaction of being completely whole..

|John, search and you will find it. It lives within you. It's the light that comes from all that's good, moral, and praiseworthy.|

|Even the belief of no belief is a beief in itself.
I understand exactly what your going through. The only answer that helped me in the long run was to look deeply within myself for the answers. I believe that as long as we are doing our best in our actions we are doing okay. The answer for me is, there is a energy out there that goes by any name we give it and positive actions and thoughts is the way to go :-)

|John, you gotta believe in that which makes you feel happy & comfortable, who really can say, Buddha, Christ, Allah, all right for those that believe in them, but where do you stand?
Excellent write, similar to one I wrote, but much, much better thought out, enjoyed this...Peace, Ed & Rufuz
