A butterfly cinquain.

Steep clouds
breach earth angles,
dense and gravid, ache to
romance, with weight, mountainous forms.
Silence
envelopes rains breathe, exhaling
in gentle mist-cascades,
falling skies are
tear-grayed.

Thanks Erin,
My kind of poem. Nice economy on the words and lots to think about in those few, but precious words. The poem said so much more, which is classic. Robert Frost would have been happy in this aspect.

Very well done.
peace to you
