A flower in the corner of my vision
See soft light hovering around
Old memory of beauty long gone
beckons me, but it’s just a shadow—
for the real you does not want me
and there’s nobody around

I can sense a million minds
all lonely, alone, together like me
each craving something
they sometimes remember
but never in its entirety
For the flowers, in memor,
have lost all their fragrance
and are nothing more
than pretty paper now.
