We promised each other
That we would always be there
For one another, no matter what
We also promised on more thing
To never forget each other

You promised that you would
Never leave me here alone
On this planet without you
You also promised me
That your love would never end

I promised you that I would
Always have a crying shoulder for you
That always made you smile
I also promised that I would
Hold on to you and never let go

But now that you're gone
I still keep my promises
When I close my eyes, I see your smile
I'm still holding on to you
But there's something I have to do

I need to forgive that man
He didn't know, what to do
Maybe he had just one to many
He never belonged behind that wheel
But it's what you would want

Now I'm on my knees
Praying to heaven to
Take me there so I Can
See your smile and hold you again

This is well done, Aaron. I am glad you have a way to release your feelings. I'm always here for you if you need someone to talk to. Look me up.
