Yesterday I was free to think, I was free to
stroll, I was free to laugh.
Yesterday I went to work, I had my lunch, I hugged my
friends, and watched a movie in my safe home.
Yesterday I called my mom, had my dinner,
and slept through the night.
Today I saw the sun, I enjoyed my first meal,
and arrived to work.
Today I saw terror, I saw death, I saw evil.
Today I lost my friends, my smile, and my security.
Today I watched the Towers fall, the planes crash, and people die.
Today I hugged my friends, called my mom, and did not sleep.
