Can I rest my weary head
On your shoulder for awhile
Try as I may
I've forgotten how to smile
If you could just hold me
Like you'll never let me go
Just pay me no attention
If you see a tear flow

**************************

Sometimes the dark shadows
Close heavily down on me
Demons knock loudly at my door
That no one else can see
I feel I'm in a glass bowl
And no one can look in
But I can view the world
From my prison walls within

**************************

Life's not a fairy tale
We weave our own fate
It's just for some of us
Changing comes a little late
We can't turn back the clock
Or erase the last few years
And we can't hide our face
Against the mounting tears

***************************

In a dark abyss you found me
Fighting the shadows alone
Building a wall of brick
Around this heart of stone
Can I rest my weary head
On your shoulders for awhile
Try as I may
I've forgotten how to smile

Most of us have been in that lonely place where a hug could almost cure our aching hearts.I hope you know it is at those times you
reach inside and feel your essence and know you are never alone . Your creator made each of us in his own image and the reason he made you is so with your wonderful words you touch our hearts. huggs to you my friend.....

Oh! Dear Linda! you are not alone! Smile and smile always. Adore my heart and feel secure. Tears won't suit you and therfore smile. Your smiles are inspiration to all people suffering and redressal they find for themselves. A smile on your face and a word thro' you pen give them all the strength. You are the beacon light of hope for them. keep the light of hope burning before your vision about future. Feel free and delghted you shall be!Bye Linda!.....ceegeeess
