may I only know the true beauty of you
for my eyes shall not misguide me
they shall not be haunted by snippets of logic
they shall not be waned by horrors of moods

may I only perceive its eternal flame
for my heart shall not misguide me
it shall receive and be filled of wonders
it shall believe there is always purpose

in greater or grander influence
wherein pride is not the conductor
in subtle glance or passion stare

may I recognize, fulfilled
its value, importance, experience
just is, just being, just knowing
you are loved beyond measure
