Belle and I collaborated on this.

I've been to places you don't know,
walked down roads you've failed to see
where even angels fear to tread
in shattered dreams' epiphany

In darkest room,'midst fallow shroud
apparitions all around
untouched by sun -- save hope's small glimmer
seeking faint lifegiving sound

I've traversed imagination
to secret valleys few have seen
in battlegrounds of hidden sadness;

on lonely roads,
there in between --

Yellowed pages of a saga
scribed deep within
frail heart's black blood

Unfelt --
unheard, as yet by any --

as wounded soul
pours drenching flood

Stark, forbidden halls of heartache
pathos dwells within my mind
Hollow footsteps echo sorrowed
destinations there to find.
