Moments of love are short and powerful. If we could keep those moments of bliss for longer times, our world might not have any problems.
For Wei-Peng 'Lulu'

Our love night was over, consumed in wild fire

Waking up in mellow arms, happy, no tire

I dressed up in leather to visit my good old bike

The rising sun shone radiant, after a bitter cold night

Through the open door white rays jumped into my face

Bike saddle and lawn glittered with sugar frost ice.

Over diamonds we walked, happy arm in arm

Blue space steps, over a crispy glimmering lawn

I gently touched your hand at the scrambled eggs pot

You served me steaming coffee, I thanked you a lot.

You gave me your sparkles, a mothers & baby smile

Whilst some lady screened us with an wide open eye

At this point some breakfast hotel guests realized aliens from paradise were among them

We were full of happiness and needed little food.

Along the Colorado we rode through the salt marsh delta.

Arriving at the Gulf coast, we lay down on a lazy and lonely sandbar.

A gentle wind blew sparkling sand, with tingling sounds in our sleepy ears.

We listened to its melody. United in love we kept each other warm

With pelican wing dreams floating above our heads.

"...with Pelican wing dreams floating above our heads."
A luscious ending to a luscious set of verses.

I liked the commentary at the end of your poem a lot. When I travel to foreign places the local people always watch everything I do, like I am from another planet...lol, your alien comment is quite true. Especially if I am somewhere off the beaten path.

Yes, I just reread the commentary at the end again...very beautiful, and I could see it in my head. ~ Sara
