Not for my book. This about a high school love.

I didn’t know what to say
When you turned and walked away
I didn’t know what to do
When you stepped on what I do
I didn’t know how to live
I didn’t want to live
I wanted to die that day
As you turned and walked away.
I still don’t know why I felt that way
You were controlling and deceitful in every way
God am I glad you walked away
You freed me that day
As I watched you sway
To your own music that day
