Blossom

Though tender Blossom moved to grow
before the reign of Winter snow,
some buds have yet the chance to bloom,
for Winter chill set in so soon.

Though nature never meant to harm,
cold Winter knows it's forceful charm,
so no-one hears the shadowed cries,
as Blossom wilts, and Blossom dies.

Boy, this really struck a chord in me! So poignant and sad and TRUE! Great write. :-) April

Interesting, but foreboding, next time you might want to see if alliteration will work better in these tight conjunctions you have written here. But Blossom will do in these trying times where frugality doesn't interfere with creativity.
Well less is said with more words
