Documents privés fell onto the background.
There in black and white, and sometimes blue,
yesterdays news screamed out at me.
The voice inside my head kept going, “Don’t do it.”
I, in a state of amazement
and knowing someone needed to know,
shared the events as they revealed themselves to me.
All thanked me,
kissing me out of the corners of their mouths.
While behind their backs they were signing,
“I’m gonna get this girl for sure.”
Now in a state of shock
I scoop out the petered liter pan.
Depositing the crap into that pile of papers.
I fold them up nice and neatly,
just in case someone decides to inspect my can.
One of these days
I’m gonna get it right.
Until then I’ll be crying,
Happy Valentine’s Day my love.
See you on my next voyage through the cosmos,
for they were singing "Bye-bye Miss American Pie."

Well I tell you girl and this may be funny
But I kinda think of you, as a real honey
And if you had only looked up into the sky
You would have seen that Valentine so fly.
As round and round that silvery moon
The cosmos of that card did swoon.
So there Gal dry your tears and don’t you cry
We sure will have some Miss American Pie.
That was the fasted cooking I have ever done
baked and served in under two minutes
even better than sex. How about that Hon.?
