(Sometimes, the edges of your faith begin to fray...)

Cause my mind is distracted

Cause my heart is leaky

Cause my faith is crusty
Cause my soul Is scabbed

Of peace disrupted

Of love denied

Of joy usurped
Of justice delayed

When the broken embrace shambles

When the lonely refuse consolation

When the innocent discover ruin
When the dead gallop pass life

I drink dangerously deep of clatter’s caldron

Cause
                  Of

When
            I'm Tired

How many times have I felt just like this? Write no more, the voice says. Who cares, anyway? But, in spite of the lameness of my brain, from somewhere, to my mind, the words begin to form, the music begins to play, and there I go again, writing it all down. Very good, Rev.

I'm tired, too. Poetry is not my favorite thing to read, but that was a good one.

Very good write, Eddie.

I 'specially like "I drink dangerously deep of clatter's caldron."

Excellent line. I like.
