I

A rose knows not
that it is beautiful
it just knows that
lily is beautiful.

A lily knows not
that it is beautiful
it just knows that
rose is beautiful.

But…

Human knows
that they are beautiful
but they know not that
peace is more beautiful.

II

A mynah knows not
that its twitter is cute
it just knows that
parrot’s twitter is cute.

A parrot knows not
that its twitter is cute
it just knows that
mynah’s twitter is cute.

But…

Human knows
that their twitter is cute
but they twitter not
the song of peace.

III

A rose sees not
still it recognizes
the beauty
of the lily.

A lily sees not
still it recognizes
the beauty
of the rose

But…

Human sees
still they discern not
the beauty
of the peace.

IV

A mynah understands not
the language of the parrot
but it enjoys the parrot’s song.

A parrot can never dance
like the mynah, but it
appreciates the mynah’s dance.

But….

Human understands
the language of peace
but their dispute fuels
the conflagration of malice.

Human can dance
to the tunes of peace
but citing fatigue
they just stand still.

They just stand still
They just stand still
They just stand still
They just stand to perish.

A wonderful write that teaches so much about human nature. It is when you compare human nature to the beauty inherent around us that yoyu notice there is something lacking. Here's hoping to see more beauty in my brothers and sisters!

What does man do but talk and talk and talk peace but plans war! They know what peace offers, but they are motivted by greed to: 'have it all.' ... And they don't have the slightest idea what 'all' is. Give thanks that God gave you this beautiful insight while you are young. Believe me, when it arrives when we are old it really saddens our hearts for the wrongs we have done to others and the greed we exercised in our lives. Your friend always .. Bill

Very inventive....though I'm not sure what you mean by "peace." It's often misunderstood.
