God, in His wisdom, creates each day anew
whipping up the batter fresh every day.
With a dollop of sunshine, it rises high.
We each take a portion to do what we will--
some share it with others without any greed
while others claim portions that they’ll never need.
Many pieces are served with a sweet topping--
we’re limited by our imagination;
the majority takes each day for granted.
There are a few who refuse another day--
those suffering souls who wallow in defeat.
Can’t they whiff the offerings of the new morn?
The aroma of good tidings is so sweet
that it makes one feel like dancing in the street.
Many desperate souls cringe, turn up the heat,
hoping to destroy the goodness God creates.
It takes a daily helping of sincere faith
for all to see He creates each day for you.

|In MY book, every day that I wake up BREATHING is a Blessing from God! (I nearly didn't survive my premature birth; weighed 1 1/2 pounds nearly 45 years ago! Karla wasn't expected to live either; but by the Grace of God, we are both still here! GLORY!)
Wonderful write, Sandy; so glad to see you here again!
