Sorry the picture is not very high quality, not easy with the wind, the snow, Rufuz not cooperating and the camera full of snow...LOL

A heavy wet snow it is…

Snow the feel of rain on the head,

of the heavy & wet variety,

3 to 5 inches are predicted, just ahead,

Rufuz & I are happy,

loving it all, Yes I just said…

Rufuz can’t help but to, in it, wallow,

Seems to bring onto his face such a glow,

He gets down on his haunches,

And sort of, but not exact, launches,

At his daddy’s feet, and tries to wrestle,

But dad is too quick for him,

Throwing a snowball, getting him all wet…

He wants the snowball thrown down the street,

He wants to chase it, but misjudges,

and lands on his back, and slides, so funny,

Then he chases dad back home, all the while grabbing,

At my feet with his paws, trying to hold me,

trying to play…

Rufuz certainly does love the snow,

Rolls in it like he is kneading dough,

surrounding his muzzle, it lays, making his black,  white,

His hair on his back and underneath,

covered in snow, it is so neat,

all he wants is to live out his life,

In snow, sleet & Ice, he has no strife…

Nor does his dad, as he watches,

His blood pressure & pulse, drop 50 points,

relaxed to see his puppy at play,

Happy to know he has seen yet another day,

Rufuz and Dad, tied like we are together,

much like that of a long term tether…

such is the fun, that we have had this night,

I hope by this description, you have joined us as well,

For what else is there to do, when it snows as it is,

I guess for as long as we can, Rufuz and I will play,

We will play, and play, as long as we both might…
