I have but a step to take I know exactly where I will be in morning light I will see you there A promise made long ago From a tree standing tall It was on hill overlooking At least his mother and Joe A tomb that’s hollowed out A place to rest your head A taste of hell a memory Laid to rest in a garden Still you are not dead A hand placed upon A woman’s love true Tears as she cries for you A comfort hand a voice That’s soft and sweet A reminder of a place We will you seek Death is but a moment No time frame here Life is in the living I must now leave that hear Brooks flow to rivers end Rivers flow into the sea Love comes from God I give it to you from me
