Returning to my roots, Nature writes that is, will be hard, but will get there slowly but surely...

Getting Back To My Roots…

Tis’ true ,

My roots I wish to get back too,

My writing roots whereas Nature was the theme,

Hard to do when having been out of that scene,

But as time moves forward,

My desire to return to those roots,

Grows ever stronger,

Will just have to don my Nature boots,

And get out and enjoy it more,

Now that old man winter,

Has allowed us a reprieve, from the drudgery,

Of snow and ice and in general, winters malaise…

So, tell me, fair poet friends, how do I do this?

How do I redress in Natures clothes?

And enter the natural worlds beauty,

Maybe I should just start by removing my shoes,

And allowing my self to curl my toes,

In the sands of Nature, reliving memories of old,

Maybe not retelling those stories I have in the past told,

But just re-reading them to get new thoughts,

Memories from my past, memories from my soul,

Gotta bring them up, gotta remember the bold,

Gotta do what I do best, and give them a new foothold…

So, if I “borrow” or appropriate,

Something you feel is yours, please don’t hold back,

Tell me what you think and if it is right, I will remove,

That of whatever you feel might be mis-gotten,

For, my friends, of the Den, I don’t want to ever,

Have you angry at me for something that can be forgotten…

I think u need to go to the beach more often. This is your first love, the shore! Remember the smell of the salt marsh or what about your Walden? If you can't remember these, then "YOU" have to make time to go back & get in touch with your inner feelings again! Remember I am behind you 100%. I know u can do this too...Love...Rene'

~*~ When you sit to meditate, sometimes conjure up the most enchantingly beautiful sojourn's in Nature that you can imagine and Be there in Nature with all your senses, see it, feel it, taste it, touch it, intuit Nature's Living Liquid Consciousness Love Spirit Immortal. In real life... spend alot of time outside in reverie and communion with Nature, trees and the nature spirits and the birds and animals. Read the lushious verdant book "Walden" by Henery David Thoreau {outside if weather permits}!
Drag yourself away from the computer and Be in sacred primal Nature!!!

If you must get back to your roots
by taking the shoes from your foots
I am thinking that the cleverest path
might just be to first take a bath <
