Merciless desert Dark shade rocks, sands to the end Crescent, sparkling stars Sun-kissed palm groves Sweet smell soil fertility The pyramids loom Lush shades of green, breeze Gently embraces red sandstone Antilopes roam free Dark dense canopy Night elephant forest trails Leopard's eye blinks fierce Dark rivers silk sky Water thunders, ocean spray Bacalao shoal bliss Born out of clay dust Happy red night life and beer Unleashed city joy Music and danse Vibrate through a starry night Smoke of grilled fish Sweet Congo woman Fire blazes between your legs Heroism and smile (c) 2004 by Franz L Kessler

I just brought home some books on Africa, from the local library. Have been in love with that country and its people since I was a child, but have never been there. Someday...though...
