This has to be one
of my deepest writes ever.
You may need to read it
several times in order
to comprehend it...

Those of you who had
been stripped to the
core - because of grief,
I think will understand
the depth of this write.

"Learning Process Of Loss"

It seems that when
we lose a loved one
It awakens a part of
our spiritual exsistance.

Just when you think that
your pain cannot sink
any lower,
Life has a way of knocking
you down to your knees.

The whole purpose of
life - is to love.
Our purpose of love
is to learn...

Learn to love & accept
loss - so we may grow.
Life is a lesson -
Love is the answer...

We seem to grow most
in our time of grief.
It's at the time when
we are stripped to the core...

Every loss is a lesson
to be learned.
We are tested with this
lesson - over & over again.
Until we finally realize -
"Learning Process Of Loss."

Oh I felt this one every step of the way. I know the experience is different for each of us, but that does not mean that we understand any the less.

well written one.
I am with Eileen those that
suffer much have much.....
And we never are at loss
for its all gathers in HIM.....

Excellent piece to share with others
that are now or are already
grieving.... theres a process
which makes us stronger in
the depth of loss......
You captured it Sagi SIS.

intense poem here, Trixie. I dont know if I've grown or not because I've only experienced loss through others eyes and hearts, and good Lord, it hurts. If or when it should come to pass, I hope I grow real fast...

Having lost many this touches me deeply! A deep truth is within your first stanza. I often look back to before I lost my son, and I see a growth that would of not happened, if I didn't start asking questions that took me on a path I am still on today.

Well done Trixie! Because you have suffered much you have learned much! One of our greatest misunderstandings comes from how we think of loss. If we were to think of it in godly terms we would realize the contiuum of infinity in which nothing is ever really lost!
