Great pic. Technically, haiku should not be titled. That is for poems. If you insist on the 5-7-5, you should insist on that too.

one cannot see that
which is hid behind the scenes
of one's illusions

haiku are not supposed to be commentaries on life, they are supposed to be small gems of perfection which show, not tell. They also are supposed to deal with some aspect of nature. This is a nice short poem, but it is not a haiku, at least in my opinion. The sentiments, are, of curse, meritorious. Nice poem.

So true, Regis, because we dare not touch our illusions in case they fade on us - like the stuff of waking dreams. We live protecting our desired fog and smoke screens! Beautifully expressed KB

Whew! you said it with few words but very profound too.I don't know whatHAIKU means but you must deeply understand it.I have heard writting down our dreams can give us a clue to the meaning of our lives.

Very insightful, Regis, as all your work is. Sometimes our illusions are blind to the possibilities, and they become random, instead of focused.
