The Corrals are a piece of property about a mile from the townsite.
Phelps Dodge Mining Co. has run water and electricity out there, the ‘renters’ pay for the utilities and make their own ‘corral’ for their animals with what they have. It is a mishmash of ingenuity. to poison animals, to kill pets...sickens me. this stark, realistic poem brings it home painfully.
i'm sorry for your friend's loss...to lose a beloved pet is losing a member of the family
(((HUGS))) and love, karla. *tears*
