'You just watch me' the arrogant man said with pride
Looking down his nose to judge me unworthy
I am but a humble man just trying to do the best that I can
I only ask to be judged by the same measuring stick that you use for yourself instead of a toothpick
I have been told my entire life, 'Don't do as I do, do as I say'
'You just watch me', but what I see is hypocrisy
Now that I am a man, I have learned thru life's hard knocks that it is not wise to watch imperfect man
So I try to follow our example of a perfect man...
A humble carpenter that taught us how to love
and rebuked those arrogant Pharisee's for their hypocrisy
I'd rather watch God's son
