gie tae me ..the colour green
the beauty that I’ve nae hae seen
an’ also blue in ony hue
tae lift my spirit

tell tae me o’ gentle pink
a lassies frock
a broon ee’d wink
an’ o’ a red lipped’ smile

whisper me yellow
soft and mellow
breathe its hotness
intae my lug

sing tae me o’ colours
that I micht touch
paint tae me the visions
that mean sae much

is it true that ivory black
is really creamy white ?
is it true that darkness
is in fact...light ?

At a last a person who can spell colour correctly. The rest is understood also, particularly like the last four lines.
