The guys at work all asked me about our date,
Hoping for some juicy tidbit of sexual gossip to
Spread among themselves.
For some strange reason,
Though I knew they would not appreciate it,
I told them the truth.
I told them you were so charming,
Attractive, intelligent, such a delightful
Sense of humor...
That it meant a great deal to me to be with you,
And I treasure your friendship.

Later you dated one of the guys,
And though I didnít ask for it-
I had thrown in my face
Graphic details of sexual conquest
And wild drunken revelry.

It is hard for me to be with you now,
Because I know things that I should not know-
Like when you are lying to me.
But the one thing I will never know is why.

I've encountered betrayal- in many forms- from
both men, women and IS ugly and you
deal with it - with such self restraint and gracefully
in self respect- very well done - Donna

Yowch. Sometimes, it's not for us to understand why; it's simply for us to KNOW.

Wonderful work, John.

My sympathy is with you.

You were very honest. You only see the good side of people. Many of us treasure our friendships and only see the good side of our friends, and these friends see our weaknesses and take it to use. Not only are they missed out on a good friendships, but they also missed out on good lives themselves.

The loss is on her, not on you. You are better off without her.

Hope you'll feel better soon.
