Until Spring

Fallen
the branches
played
with the wind.
As
nuts fell
and exploded
among the trees.
Squireels
digging
eat their find
while
wiild birds
scatter
as
seeds
fill the air.
Spring has
come
on a waft
of breeze
that soothes
our darkest
memories
and uplifts
our spirits
as the sun
drawn to the
melting ice
welcomes us
once again.

Sounds like spring in the country! (And even with record temperatures today at a whopping 67 degrees, the squirrels were smart enough to keep hibernating.) Thanks for this breath of warmth. Gotta start reading the rest of your story. . .
blessin's on a wonderful interview Sis Lilith!
