So you're broken,
don't just sat around choking.
Get up off your behind,
deal with your negative mind.
So you feel sorry for you,
this isn't anything new!
Say you're depressed,
feeling down and oppressed.

This is all normal,
part of lifes negative informal.
Life is good and bad,
at times happy and sad.
While you're down,
part of you is fighting to come around.
God wants you up,
not down feeling corrupt.

Follow that part of you,
that hates feeling blue.
The part that sees light,
even in the dark of night.
The part that will shine,
even in the darkest of mind.

The part that sees a smile,
and wants to do the same for awhile.
The part that knew joy,
before evil came to destroy.
The part that wants to positively embrace,
as you're feeling out of place.

Good poem, Grady; we need to focus on our blessings instead of feeling sorry for ourselves whenever problems arise! (I know someone who could use this poem very well; she is ALWAYS depressed, and it drives me CRAZY!)

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
