excerpt from book The Imprisoned Mind

So you want to keep in mind down the road, that even though you’ve been off pain pills for years, don’t think that you can go back and just take a few, you can’t do it.  Like I said, you’ll be right back where you started.  I hope this research I’m doing helps people, because to me, I’ve wasted 16 years of my life taking pain pills.  And so for me personally, I want this to be able to help people so that all that time in my life, those wasted days, days of being strung out on stuff, will mean something.  I really hope this will help people; that the things I’ve been through will count for something in life that will help my fellow man to realize it’s not the end of the world.  There’s people and medicine out there now that can rid you of this present state of being hooked on pain medications.

YOUR QUEST TO HELP OTHERS IS TRULY A BLESSING. THE BEST PERSON TO SPEAK ON THE SUBJECT OF DRUG ADDICTION IS A PERSON WHO PERSONALLY KNOWS THE AGONY OF SUCH AN ADDICTION. MAY YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN ALL YOUR EFFORTS TO 'FREE' OTHERS AS YOU HAVE BEEN SET FREE. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Daniel, I agree with you.I also know people who are too dependent on medication.
This is especially troublesome because oftentimes the medicines interfere with each other.
I wonder if some foods can replace some of the medicines that are taken much too frequently and for too long?
This is a real serious problem, and I thank you for addressing it.
I am sure many people will give this some serious thought, and hopefully take the right action.Good luck!
