Rainbow in the sky.

In life, there are many unforeseen obstacles.  Obstacles which changes our fate and ultimately, our destiny.  In the beginning, we struggle to discover our true meaning in life, our purpose for existing.  Many times, we deny the shadowy truth about who we are and who we have become, to be accepted in a world that doesn’t understandjust to fit in.

In between what we desire and what the world expects from us, we embark in the attenuated evolution of ourselves.  Painfully maintaining the here and now, in our desperate attempt to understand and embody, who we are.

As time passes us by, we learn to accept our fate, defining the true meaning of it allthe answers to all life’s regrets and lost but not forgotten, true loves of our life that have come and gone.

Today, is a new beginning.  Tomorrow has yet to come.  For now, we can only judge our future, by learning from our past.  Without it, we are nothing.  Alone and misguided, in a world of pain, misery and despair, that has made us who we are.

Without love, our life seems meaningless.  Hopeless beyond comparison as we try to empower that which we need and desire ... ‘Love’.  It is in our nature to be loved, to be cherished and to be desired.  We were created out of love, to love one another, and to respect life and all its blessings.  True love can either blind us or taunt us, for no man or woman can truly understand its meaning.  All we can hope for, is that somewhere out there, is someone who loves us.  Someone who is willing to step into our lives, so that we may grow together as one.

We are given life to grow, to nurture it, to understand it and to harvest in its bounty.  Like a seed that has fallen from atop the highest tree, it must have the proper ambient factors, before it can grow into something beautiful.  Over time, if maintained and nurtured, life will become all that we have made it.  For time is but a stepping stone, for what we will become.

As we look back at our lives and move forward, it is important to know that we all need one another and there will be times, when we can not grow together, for each individual needs their own space.  Remember that love has no purpose, if we can not relish in our hope and our own desires.  Remember that we can not judge one for who they love, only by how they love.

When you see a rainbow in the sky, remember those that we have loved and those who have loved us back, for no love should ever be forgotten, but forever cherished ...

That was beautiful! Mario your poems bring tears to my eyes, especially the one you wrote to your mom. I lost my mom also from the age of seven, and I would give the world to have her back!
