Jesus is still the reason for the season.

It's Still Christmas

Over the past several years, the division in our country has escalated to heights our forefathers would never have imagined. Although there has always been disagreement between males and females, prejudice among the races, and the terrible realities of war and natural disasters, it seems as if instead of "one nation under God" we are a nation ignoring God.

We have heard of the attempts to rid the Christian radio and television stations of playing Christmas hymns. Now, it seems the newest attempt to take Christ out of Christmas is demonstrated by retailers instructing their employees not to say "Merry Christmas," but to say "Happy Holidays." Now I'm not against the terminology, but I do strongly oppose the reason behind it. Some may argue that because of various religions, we shouldn't offend anyone. This is absurd! By doing this they are offending the Christians. We know these are the signs of the End Times as the Bible clearly tells us and that when Christ comes back to receive His own in the rapture, those left behind will have to try to survive in the Tribulation.

When will we learn? How many more tragedies, such as the Aids epidemic and the terrorist attacks such as 911 will we allow before this country drops to their knees, and acknowledges God's Son as the only hope of the world?

When Jesus walked among us more than two thousand years ago, his message was of love, forgiveness, hope, and peace. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and taught us a new way to love one another.

If this is what we want, than why are we constantly at war among ourselves?
