"Sweet Peace"

 Oh Sweet Peace, amidst the storms of life ever present at my side, I walk with Thee. I am never alone. Send forth from above Thy renewing grace and bestow it on me. You, Oh Lord, are my benefactor. You are my caring Father who watches over my every thought. You free me from the bondage of the snares and entrapments of the evil that persists. I travel the deep thoughts of my mind and stand in need, always of Your presence in my life. I am so in need of Your great mercy. Onward I search in You for direction. A gentle touch, a warm embrace in order to go on. There is nothing that can fill the needs impressed upon my soul. Only, You Lord! Warm sunshine beams across my face. As the sun glows and shines forth, I feel Your presence. There is a hidden beauty that swells within my heart and I know that You are here. True companionship I find in Thee. There is an abounding love that sets my heart in motion. It is clearly evident that Your presence is at hand, a clarity that is seen only through Your love. Clearly, divinely driven onward towards great love, I find such peace. There is great love, a love that is sometimes forgotten by the world today. I shall say to myself, "I seek total love in the Lord." Your response is, "I AM HERE FOR THEE." Warmly I enter into a place where You exist. Your existence is everywhere. You are in all things, that Your mighty hand alone has created. The spring showers fall gently downward and refresh all that I see. A new season unfolds. Spring is upon the earth. I shall spend time to renew myself in You. Each day, I find myself just holding onto a pure simple trusting love in You. Remove not Thy hand from my life. Keep watch over all that stands in need of Thee. Protect my mind from the over-anxiousness of this world. Be a tower of strength for me. Renew in me a spirit moved by great love in Thee. Allow a spirit of joy to over take my soul. I wish to lie down by the Great River of Life, that I see. Resting by this river, I rest and refresh myself. I sit with Thee and feel great contentment for my soul. A peace unknown to the unsettledness of this world. Calm waves gently wave across the River of Life and hit the shores. I find myself in a spirit of sweet, sweet peace...
