It will be an historic
moment as the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed from the southern
most city of Um Qasr to the center of the nation in Al Hillah (site of the
ruins of Babylon), to our northern most city of Mosul.
Operation Iraqi Freedom Prayer Mission "Greenberg, Milton L Mr Army G8-FD" shares the weekdays Operation Iraqi Freedom prayer mission me during the weekdays. Thanks for your part in all this! Keep fervent in prayer! Bud, "Greenberg, Milton L Mr Army G8-FD" -----Original Message----- CARVER, DOUGLAS L., COL (C5 V CORPS CHAPLAIN) Saturday, April 19, 2003 11:06 AM 'McDaniel, Michael H. Capt. TFHISTORY ' Mike, Quick prayer request. I'm currently sitting at Baghdad International Airport. Tomorrow I will preach the Easter service for all the soldiers gathered here. The service will be in Saddam's airport hangar where his private planes were once housed and maintained. If you think that's prophetic, I live in Terminal D, also known as the Ninevah Gate. Praise the Lord! Remember all of our chaplains and soldiers tomorrow. It will be an historic moment as the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be proclaimed from the southern most city of Um Qasr to the center of the nation in Al Hillah (site of the ruins of Babylon), to our northern most city of Mosul. Much prayer is needed in the north. Pray that the trumpet blast of the Gospel will break through the great darkness that permeates this land. Thanks for your prayers, brother. Peace, Doug Douglas L. Yes, I agree we need to support our troops through our prayers in the hope that they will return with honor and with our Lord Jesus Christ in their hearts.
