This is especially for soft hearted ladies all over the world, who don't deserve to get involved with some of these CREEPS that think of us as 'prey!

 THE CREEPS !

It happens every time that I venture out on my own. I guess it’s the problem many women have. Hardly walk further than a few shops, when a man walks up and asks for the time, even when your wrists are bare, and they can see that you’re wearing no watch!
Then walking on fast, avoiding eyes lest another asks the same question, suddenly getting accosted by a man asking directions to somewhere. How come they always ask women? But, after being given a direction, or me politely saying that I have no idea, it occurs to them that I must be dying for a drink and might agree to have one with them! (As if I can not get my own!)
Then they say that they are on their way to get a meal and if I am hungry, I can come too. I say, “ I ‘m married, happily too!” They say, “that’s okay, a meal won’t hurt,” adding that I may find out that I like them a lot. I say, “I don’t need to thank you!” They say, “we all need friends.” I think, oh no not that one again! I say, “I have all the friends I need and many more than I have the time for.” They say, “but I haven’t many friends and quite honestly, I could use some company.” I reply, “Sorry but I really don’t, and my husband is waiting for me.”

They say, “can’t he wait a bit longer, I may never see you again!” I say, “Well of course not!”
They look glum, and say “ Can I just talk to you for a few moments, in that.. (looking around madly) …café over there!” Meanwhile I have been moving away, slowly, so as not to seem too rude, and quite a way from the shop I was going into. “No I say emphatically. I only keep company with my husband,” They sometimes say, “but my wife has only just left me and taken my only child with her. I need someone to speak to?”
Sometimes there are variations on this theme, the mum has taken his child away and it’s been years since he last saw him. Why on earth do they come up with this sob story? Do they think all of us women are so maternal and easily taken in? That we don’t realize that it may have been his fault? That he treated his woman badly, or the child? No woman leaves the father of her child for no good reason! I know. I have been there. Twice!

So the pleading falls on my deaf ears. I have heard it so many times before. No wonder these women leave men like this. The last thing to do is approach a strange woman and want to talk about personal feelings. If this particular saga is true , in some cases the fact that they have no buddies to turn to at this time, means that they were not worthy of being a friend in the first place.

I get so annoyed with the women who fall for this ‘my child has been taken away by his mum line!’ They just end up with the problem the other woman left him for! I could say there are always two sides to a story, but I won‘t here, as men who just walk up to a woman, who is not even in a social situation, are Not the kind of men, to be involved with. Unless, of course that rare thing happens, CHEMISTRY! When you melt just looking at each other, even though it is out of the blue! I do believe in love at first sight! And I do believe also that it may not last long. Both of the spirits have to learn to grow together. Or the lust will be all they have, until that wears off eventually.

But, back to normality, for most of us that is! It is pure harassment when a man comes onto a woman like this. We go out to shop, not to pick up some available, or half available man for a brief chat, or a drink and even longer chat, or worse, a one night stand. Why doesn’t a man listen, and give up politely as soon as we say we are married? If we don’t say we are married, it takes double the time to get away!
Can men really not tell when a woman is not interested? Does he think he can talk her into liking him, or wanting to try to? I do know that not all men are like this, but I am writing about the ones who are. If you are one, I ask you to treat a woman with respect and when she says she has to go, let her! Please! We need to go about our business in peace, without feeling the need to keep our eyes out for sudden attacks of verbosity, which keep us pinned to the same area for longer than we want to stand around.

If more women took up bodybuilding and built up their physical strength, they would feel more confident and it would show. When they say no and push the man’s hand off their arm, with an unpleasant pressure on his, he would soon get the message.

My advice to women who do not want to get pestered, is not to let your eyes meet the man’s who has intentions on you. Say, “I’m in a hurry, sorry!” Then walk straight off. Into the nearest shop if necessary. Anywhere, rather than let these CREEPS get their jollies!
