Before writing this story I had to live it. After living it, I had to convince myself that it really had happened.

Dear Readers,

The metaphysical concept of “discernment” is a powerful one in my life because it is the means by which I dodge the dangers of self-delusion and engage the wonders of authentic spiritual development. Because I was, for a very long time, uncertain of the efficacy with which I may or may not have employed this useful tool of consciousness, I was reluctant to place on file the story of EYES LIKE OCEANS OF INFINITE LOVE. It is a story that forced me to confront a number of disconcerting questions. Was the tale one of a man soothing himself with lies and hallucinations about the death of his children? Or was it the bona fide demonstration of a controversial spiritual philosophy? Could or should I trust the implications of visions, synchronicity, and the fact of an actual birth? I challenged myself to accept the validity of my own experience by posting the story at http://www.toowrite.com/toowrite_story.asp?sid=6861 on TooWrite.com, a site reserved for nonfiction stories only. I invite readers to click on the link or paste it in their browsers and decide for themselves the meaning of the events relayed in EYES LIKE OCEANS OF INFINITE LOVE.

| The metaphysical moment of anyone transends description I truly believe. To be able to "go" there is a feat and an illusion which in turn is a reality that most of us are just not capable of achieving. By reading this story, which I freely admit, confused me a time or two, I understood as best I can that something tremendous happened to you concerning the beat of your soul and you found a way to share it with us. Bless you for that talent. |

| Your story is beautiful, Aberjhani. If your visions were fabrications of your mind to help you in your grief, then I and others like us have had the same visions after losing those we love... |
