I was writing comments of thanks to an author who writes about her love for animals. Her writings inspired me to ask questions and write a short story about God's four legged miracles that are all around us. Where would we be without them?
God's four legged creatures are truly miracles! How many times have you seen a sad or somber face change in an instant when a pet runs and jumps up to see that person? How many depressed people have been helped with a pet? How many blind or handicapped people are able to get around because of a four legged friend? Even the Presidents of the United States have had special pets to help them to get "down to earth" at a level they would not reach with a person. These are God's special creatures. When we look for signs and wonders we don't need to go too far.
God's four legged miracles are all around us. Where would we be without them?

Where WOULD we be without our furry or feathered friends? I wouldn't want to even CONSIDER thinking about it (although, where we live, we can't have cats!)!! I love animals; always have, always will! Great write, John Michael; well penned!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :) |

I for one, wouldn't be here. My animals have given me the hope, strength and love to know that tomorrow would be better.
I thank them with rewards. My love. They are truly a gift from God to help through our good times and our not so good. . Loved by us but we need to appreciate them all more, and give them extra time to feel our respect, love and appreciation. Keep up the wonderful work John. Animals are a blessing to us all! |
