Writing Fatal Addiction actually could be misunderstood and get my tail in a crack,I assure you.
Yes I do look over my shoulders when coming in late at night.
I'll tell you about one thing leading to another.
Be careful,even doctors get addicted.
Strange characters at book signings asking questions pertaining to certain drugs, where do I live, can I call you sometime? And yes I have had phone calls and I have to be awfully careful with my advice. One caller asked me who to go to get him off Lortabs? That his family will leave him if they learn that he is addicted. So I told him to go to a certain doctor at a Center.Today I learned this doctor got hooked on demerol and the social drugs and he withered on the vine.I did a day of relief work at the detox pharmacy and was told about this happening. So how do you think I felt when I sent folks addicted to this doctor who has the same problem? You never know from one to another who has the habit? The doctor in charge of the center has learned a lesson and asked that from then on all prescriptions for habitual drugs like Ambien and prozac cannot be refilled, the patient must see the doctor again. We all just can't be too careful when dealing with others lives.Note......Okay, I am not shooting Ambien and prozac out of the saddle but....by damn they can hook folks if not taken properly and sometimes they still can do it when patients are alergic to them.
Just be careful.Everett Beal Rph.
