Now this is my idea of thanksgiving: giving thanks and keeping it simple. I remember as a child the stress heavy on my parents over the holidays and it all started with Thanksgiving. It was never about being healthy enough to gather as friends and family again. As an adult, my wife and I try to do just as your "My Thanksgiving" describes. Nice, nice writing.
