Andy, Andy, don't be afraid,
Why is your face wet with tears?
Why do you cry, why do you fret,
Why are you shaking with fear?

(Mama, there's a monster there.
He said he would grab my hair,
And pull me underneath the bed...
And chew on me 'til I was dead!)

Andy, Andy, don't be afraid,
There are no monsters here.
Where did you hear a thing like that?
Oh, I see...your brother dear.

(But Mama! What can I do?
I want that old monster subdued!!
I don't want to have more nightmares,
Will you help me to say my prayers?)

Andy, Andy, don't be afraid,
There are no monsters here.
Look. There's nothing under the bed,
Don't believe everything you hear!

Excellent Karla,
I hope that all children will be read this and read this for themselves. It's great for all times! I love it. I could use it for myself when the wind howls and the lights go out at night.
