One of Johnny Mize's stories
I once owned a driving range in Habersham County, Georgia. One of my regular customers was Johnny Mise, a baseball Hall of Famer, and the original "Big Cat."
We were talking one day and I asked him if he was bitter about the huge salaries players get today.
He said, "Walt, when I first signed with the majors, they gave me a hundred-fifty dollars a week and a brand new station wagon. Man, I thought I was rich."
I guess it's all relative.......

Walt
