tired of junk mail ....here's how to stop it..my sister told me this one and I am eternaly greatful

I used to get tons of junk mail, from this one or that one, offering fantastic deals on usually worthless stuff.
I mentioned it one day to my sister and she told me what to do.
Now depending on the type and frequency of the offending stuff, you have two options.

1: take the business reply envelope they send you and fill it with everything you have handy that weighs more than just regular paper. I have been known to actually cut up magazines (25-30 pages) to letter size and stuff the business return envelope with it with a post it note that read take me off your mailing list, Please.
Always include the original reply sheet so they will know who it came from.

If the offending stuff continues......

2: Take an old box, ones that checks come in will do just fine. Again put the original order form in it with a post it note saying please take me off your mailing list....but this time fill the box with sand in a baggie, even if you have to tape it shut. cut the buiness reply envelope and tape it to the front of the box.
When these mail marketeers start getting postage due notices from the usps...for several dollars worth of sand, they will soon listen and take you off their mailing lists.
I never get junk mail any more.........

we always mail back the junk in the "postage paid" envelopes, including anything else I can stuff in them to exceed the basic postage, therefore they have to pay again to receive it....however, I didn't know about the box idea.
